Amyris Holistic Balm

Amyris, also known as West Indian Sandalwood, balsam torchwood, or candlewood, is widely used in aromatherapy for its grounding and calming effects, which help to reduce anxiety, and tension while promoting deep and restful sleep.  Rich in antioxidants like valerianol and eudesmol, amyris oil helps fight free radicals, which can prevent signs of premature aging and improve skin elasticity and regeneration.   Its natural antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal properties make it effective for use on acne-prone skin, minor cuts, or skin infections.

Scent: calming, woody, balsamic, slightly floral

Directions: Massage a small amount of balm between fingertips and apply to any area of the face or body in need of nourishment.  Keep in cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.  

Important Note: Since the holistic balm is free of all chemical stabilizers, if it has been sitting in any kind of heat during delivery, it could melt.  If you receive your balm and it has melted, pop it in the freezer for 20 minutes, take it out, and let it return to room temperature on the counter before using.
